Gamma Beta Chapter

About Us

Welcome! We are the Alpha Omega Epsilon - Gamma Beta Chapter at

the University of Tennessee Knoxville!

Alpha Omega Epsilon is a nationally recognized professional and social sorority composed of women studying science and engineering. The sorority focuses on developing professional skills, serving the local community, and building lasting relationships with fellow sisters in STEM!

Core Values

We promote women in pursuit of careers in sciences and engineering through professional development, support the local community through service projects, and develop strong bonds of friendship through social activities.

We aim to promote professionalism in the sorority through resume critiques, mock interviews, academic presentations, shared company connections, and more!

We strive to make a difference in the Knoxville community through numerous service projects, like volunteering at Love Kitchen, Ronald McDonald House, Young Williams Animal Shelter, etc.

We are so excited to meet new people and build lasting friendships. We organize many social events like movie nights, hiking trips, sand volleyball, and  annual retreats!

We are excited to announce we are about to initiate our Gamma class into Alpha Omega Epsilon and are very excited to announce that we are the new Gamma Beta Chapter.

If you missed fall recruitment but would still like to join, we will be hosting fall

recruitment in early September. Details are posted below and under the Recruitment tab!
